GranBio’s Committee on Ethics and Conduct meets every three months, or extraordinarily when solicited by one of its members.
This Committee has the autonomy and independence to investigate, canvas and judge violations of our Code, and impose appropriate disciplinary sanctions.
Its members also serve to disseminate, clarify and provide guidance on complying with the Code.
GranBio’s Committee on Ethics is formed by the following members:
The CEO and founder of GranBio, he was trained in Civil Engineering at the Escola Politécnica at the Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA), has an MBA from The Wharton School and a Master’s in [International Studies in Politics. Bernardo had a career in the Odebrecht Group, where he rose to be President of Braskem.
Chief Financial Officer, Gustavo Graduated in Economics at PUC-SP (Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo) and MBA in Finance at Insper-SP. Previously, held the position of CFO at Enesa Group and worked in the Financial Market focusing on Corporate Banking and Credit.
Legal Director at GranBio, he was trained in Law at UNIFACS, and took specializations courses in Tax Law at Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Tributário (IBET), in Procedural Law at Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA) and in infrastructure law at FGV. Also, he has a Master´s degree in Civil Law from PUC-SP. Carlos had career in the Odebrecht Group (at Braskem and Odebrecht Ambiental S.A.). Carlos was a member of Associação Brasileira de Terminais Portuários (ABTP).
Compliance Coordinator at GranBio, she was trained in Business Administration at Universidade Cidade de São Paulo (USP), and took a variety of courses in Audit, Internal Controls and Frauds. Coming from companies like Alcoa Aluminio and PricewaterhouseCoopers, she has over 10 years of experience in Audit, Internal Controls and Compliance areas.
